Laboratorio Chimico Hibros was established in Bologna in the late of the nineteenth century by the Nadalini's family and started to take the first steps producing cosmetics for hair care. Through the ongoing researches conducted within the laboratories, after it obtained the first patent for bleaching creams, in 1967 it moved to the production of decolourants and products for face and body treatments.
In 1980 in order to address the needs and problems of unwanted hair Laboratorio Chimico Hibros made the first lines of depilation and epilation based on plant extracts and natural oils such as beeswax, aloe, jojoba oil, marsh mallow and linden. In the following years the brand Hibros became well known with more than one hundred articles in the depilation field both in perfumery and in beauty centers.
In 1999 was created the cosmetic line Hibros Sport, dedicated to athletes and in particular to the cycling sector; thanks to collaborations with professional massage therapists in a few years Hibros Sport became the reference point for the athletes of the most important cycling teams of Pro-Tour and also an Official Sponsor of the FCI.
Since 2000, the construction of new laboratories and more efficient production lines helped to develop new cosmetic lines for many sectors (pharmaceutical, sports, zootechnics, etc.) and to dedicate itself to the realization of important projects in Private Label.
In 2010 a new production plant of more than 1000L was bought in order to manufacture zootechnical cleansing and sanitising products. These products are manufactured in private label for many European companies.
In 2015 in collaboration with some groups of large retailers the line SaniUp, dedicated to home care, was born.

QUALITY CONTROL OF RAW MATERIALS
The raw materials used by Laboratorio Chimico Hibros come from the most qualified national and foreign suppliers and meet the standards set by European legislation. The absolute quality of the product and its stability over time are guaranteed by strict controls and by specific test of compatibility with the primary packaging such as tubes, bottles, jars, etc.
CONTROL OF ALL PRODUCTION STAGES
The processing and packaging take place in locations with hygienically fitted equipment and are carefully controlled in every step.

The finished product is evaluated relating to the compliance to specific chemical, physical, microbiological, efficacy parameters. Equally important are the accelerated aging tests performed by subjecting the product to variations in temperature for a predetermined period of time.
Quality control is performed periodically on each lot in the 24 months following the date of production. Some samples of the finished products, after they have passed the clinical testing of tolerability, are tested again to determine their efficacy.
CLINICALLY AND DERMATOLOGICALLY TESTED
Clinical tests are performed by leading analytical laboratories and Universities.
NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS
